FAQs
YES! As long as you didn't sign an MRABA by indicating any choices after preference round. (See the Panhellenic recruitment book for a full explanation of the MRABA or talk with your recruitment counselor.) Entering your choices after preference round means that you will likely match to another sorority. If you enter choices after pref and then decide to decline a bid that is offered during the Formal Recruitment process, you would be ineligible to accept a bid or pledge another group for a full calendar year.
YES! BUT you cannot sign an MRABA indicating any choices after preference round. If you withdrew before recruitment started or if you withdraw during any round of recruitment, you are eligible to join ZTA. You are still eligible to join ZTA if you attend all rounds, including preference, HOWEVER, once you enter choices after preference, you are agreeing to accept a bid to one of those other groups. The likelihood of not matching to one of those groups is VERY small. If you were to decline a bid that is offered, you would be ineligible to accept a bid or pledge another group for a full calendar year. If, for some reason, you did not match to one of the groups you indicate on your MRABA, you would be eligible for ZTA. Again, that likelihood is very small and that information would be verified with Panhellenic by ZTA before a bid could be offered.
NO! This year ZTA is holding a special colonization recruitment after Panhellenic Recruitment. We will be looking to pledge a similar number to the other groups on campus. We invite all interested women to participate in our process.
YES! In Spring 2017, ZTA will participate in regular Panhellenic Recruitment. Since we are starting a new chapter, we have a special process this year. In January, you will see our consultants during the Spring Involvement Fair on January 14th from 5-8pm in the Union. We will also be participating in the first round of Panhellenic Formal Recruitment on January 14 & 15 to tell everyone more about our process. We will start our own colonization recruitment after Panhellenic formal recruitment ends. Look for our consultants on campus starting January 26.
